Petitions.now

A space for constructive change.

These draft community terms guide this development version. Final operator details and jurisdiction-specific terms are required before public launch.

Be accurate and respectful

Explain the change you are seeking, distinguish opinion from fact, and avoid misleading claims. Do not publish private personal information, threats, harassment or unlawful content.

One person, one verified signature

Use your own name and email. Duplicate verified email signatures on the same petition are not counted. An email check confirms control of an email address; it is not government identity verification.

Review and moderation

Creators verify their email before a petition can be approved. Administrators may reject, remove, or investigate content and signatures. You can report a petition from its page.

Submission is not acceptance

Automatic submission requires explicit creator permission and a checked recipient address. A successful sending result does not prove the authority received, reviewed, accepted or acted on a petition. Petitions.now does not guarantee a legal or governmental outcome.
